ASSUMPTION OF SHIPPING LIABILITY
We ship by UPS Ground. UPS allows us to ship up to 66 lbs of ammunition, per package. We cannot ship to a PO Box. Once your product is received by the shipping carrier, you will automatically assume all responsibility for its safe transit to your delivery address and thereafter. You also agree to hereby explicitly release McHenry Cartridge Co. from all liability and responsibility thereafter.
RETURN POLICY
For safety reasons, we cannot accept ammunition returns. It is your responsibility as a customer to confirm exactly what cartridge your firearm uses and that the firearm used is in good working condition and safe. While we take pride in the manufacturing and quality control of our ammunition, we assume no further responsibility (either expressed or implied) for the use of this product.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders cancelled for any reason will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If the order has been processed for shipment (tracking number assigned to the order), it will be subject to an additional $25 fee. Once an order has shipped McHenry Catridge Co. can no longer process a cancellation.

In order to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our visitors, we offer the following guarantee regarding information gathering and dissemination practices for our web site. By using at McHenryCartridge.com, you are guaranteed that McHenryCartridge.com will not under any circumstances sell or release your personal information to a non involved third party. Federal law requires all handgun ammunition to be purchased by someone 21 years of age or older. Federal law requires all rifle ammunition to be purchased by someone 18 years or older. Some states have additional requirements. Age verification is required for all orders.
Good news! More and more states are allowing for shipment of ammunition with few or no restrictions. However, if you live in the following states, the following restrictions apply to ammunition sales:
1. Alaska: No ammunition sales.
2. California : No ammunition sales.
3. Connecticut : For ammunition purchases one of the following is required and must be emailed for order approval:
A valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver
A valid permit to sell at retail a pistol or revolver
A valid eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver
A valid long gun eligibility certificate
A valid ammunition certificate
+ a legal photo ID that shows date of birth and photograph. Ammunition can only be shipped to an address on the documents emailed to us.

5. Illinois : For ammunition purchases. We must have your FOID and State ID on file.
Chicago, IL Cook County, IL No Ammo without a FFL. Ammo can only be shipped to an address on the documents emailed to us. We are located in IL so local pick up is an option as well!
6. Massachusetts: No Ammunition without a FFL
7. New York : No Ammunition without a FFL
8. New Jersey : For Handgun ammunition purchases. We must have your N.J. Firearms ID AND NJ state ID on file. Ammo can only be shipped to an address on the documents emailed to us.
